Neville Brothers “Fiyo on the Bayou” — The second album from the Neville Brothers, released in 1981. It’s like a party on your turntable, funky and slinky and all-around irresistible. And when Aaron slows things down and sings with that angelic voice, you just about melt. Tremendous LP from the New Orleans legends.

Rolling Stone interview, and a young Whitney Houston even features as a backup vocalist.
